MEET SHEREEN,

Principal Designer

Design has always been where I feel most in my element, the way a room can go from not working to just right, once you understand what it actually needs.

Before starting Bungalow 57, I spent years as a Senior Medical Lab Technologist in a hospital blood transfusion lab, solving complex, high-stakes problems under pressure. That training sharpened the way I think. Now, with an Interior Decorating Certificate from George Brown College, I bring that same thinking to my work as a Toronto-based interior decorator.

I lead every project myself, from the first visit to the final walkthrough, with an assistant supporting me on site. My design sensibility, paired with a diagnostic approach, is what Bungalow 57 is built on: transforming spaces that don't look or feel right into beautiful, functional homes.

How We Work

01          We diagnose before we design

Every project begins with understanding your space, how you live in it, and what isn't working, before we offer any direction.

02          We simplify before we design

Whether you know exactly what's not working or have no idea where to start, we narrow the options down to what actually makes sense for your space.

03          We keep you informed at every step

You always know what comes next, whether it's a written assessment, a layout, or a full design scheme. For larger projects, nothing moves forward without your review and sign-off.

04          Our design fees are transparent

You'll know the fee structure for each service upfront, and if your needs change along the way, we'll let you know the cost before any new work begins.

05          We tell you the truth

If something won't work, we'll say so. If a service isn't the right fit for your situation, we'll tell you that too. Our job is to give you the honest answer, not the most comfortable one.
